General Meeting and Elections on 10 October 2004

Wednesday, September 29th, 2004

The Tribe MC will have a general meeting and elections at Bagel City in Rockville MD at 10 AM on the 10th of October. Please make every effort to attend this meeting and cast your vote. Steve Mazer, in charge of the nomination/election committee, submitted the following slate of candidates to our e-mail list:

  • President - Jay Rubin

  • Vice President - Jeff Kay
  • Secretary-Treasurer - Henry Winokur

This list is remarkably similar to our current officers and we appreciate the opportunity to run for office again. Keeping in mind that this is our first election (your current officers were installed when we ratified the chapter charter), we’d like to see a strong turn out. Our charter calls for a minyan to do business, so help us make one. The bagels are good, the company will be even better. This is a great opportunity to meet your other Tribe mates and we look forward to seeing all of you there. We’ll also bring the patches to the meeting in case you need to get one or sign up for the club.

See you then!
